PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time until data recording starts on a medium after the power is turned on. SOLUTION: The information processing device starts boot-up processing for a HDD and DVD (Step S22) when the power is turned on (Step S21 YES). It starts recording of the recording data in the HDD (Step S24) when the boot-up processing for the HDD start is completed (Step S23 YES). Then, it dubs the recorded content in the HDD (the recording data already recorded in the HDD) in the DVD at high speed, when the boot-up processing for the DVD is completed (Step S25 YES).
