PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate attachment/detachment of an ice tray and to detect the presence of the ice tray. SOLUTION: This automatic ice making device comprises a support body for supporting the front side shaft part of the ice tray; a frame body extended backward from the support body; a frame for enclosing the frame body; a guide rail provided at the frame to allow the frame body to slide along; a guide member provided to be longitudinally movable in the frame; a driving part having a motor for turning the ice tray; and an output shaft engaged with the rear side shaft of the ice tray to transmit the output of the driving motor to the ice tray. A locking part abutting on the guide member 28 from the rear side to move the guide member to the front side when pulling out the support body to the front side is provided at the rear shaft part of the ice tray or the frame body.
