SOLUTION: In this toroidal type continuously variable transmission, a lubricating oil passage 100 feeding a lubricating oil to the large end face 11b of the power roller 11 and the rolling part of a rolling bearing 24 is formed in a drive rod 29, the trunnion 15, and the rolling bearing 24, The continuously variable transmission comprises a suction means 82 generating a negative pressure between the inner side face of the trunnion 15 and the large end face 11b of the power roller 11 by sucking the inside of the lubricating oil passage 100.
