PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a structure for preventing the brittle peeling (white layer) of a rolling bearing from occurring. SOLUTION: The white layer occurs due to a heat insulated shearing deformation. The shearing deformation is produced when a shearing deformation occurring in the bearing and a shearing deformation rate exceed limit values specific to a material. To prevent them from occurring, the rolling elements may be prevented from being collided with an inner ring (outer ring). For this purpose, an impact speed is reduced to approximately 3 m/sec or below, more specifically, a radial clearance in assembling may be set to a negative clearance in its half part.
