PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail frame for prefabricated scaffolding, which is good in workability at the time of assembly and disassembly, and free from a risk of falling component members thereof. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the handrail frame, one support 51a and one end of an upper handrail 52 are rigidly connected together at right angles, and the other support 51b and the other end of the upper handrail 52 are rotatably engaged with each other. Further, one end of an intermediate crosspiece 53 is rotatably engaged with a vertical midpoint of the one support 51a, and the other end of the intermediate crosspiece 53 is slidably engaged with a vertical midpoint of the other support 51b.
