PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter capable of easily changing a position of a closing mechanism operation part, without unstabilizing opening-closing operation of a sliding door. SOLUTION: This adapter 70 is detachably installed in a traveling body 50A by fixing a base end part 72a of an adapter body 72 to the traveling body 50A. The adapter body 72 extends in the direction for separating from a sliding door closer 60 incorporated with a closing mechanism, and holds a stopper pin 71 being the closing mechanism operation part in its tip part 72b. Thus, when changing the length and an installation position of the adapter body 72, a position of the stopper pin 71 can be changed without changing a position of the traveling body 50A. Since there is no need to change the position of the traveling body 50A for changing the position of the stopper pin 71, inconvenience of unstabilizing the opening-closing operation of the sliding door 40 is not caused by changing the position of the stopper pin 71.
