PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven fabric for a lining material, not only having physical characteristics, including air permeability and slipperiness, which are primarily required as the lining material, but also having an excellent refreshing feel, and therefore suitable for summer clothes. SOLUTION: This woven fabric is used for the lining material of the summer clothes, wherein false-twisted yarn with non-untwisted spots which is formed out of a polyester-based fiber is used as any one of the warp and the weft and crimped yarn of side-by-side type which is formed out of polyester-based fibers and has a crimp percentage measured after treatment with boiling water for 30 min of≥40% is used as the other of the warp and the weft.
