PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation containing liposome effectively containing a water soluble compound. SOLUTION: The preparation containing liposome includes liposome preferably containing a nonionic iodine based compound and at least one biologically permissible auxiliary agent for the preparation in internal and external water phase of a lipid membrane. The liposome is produced in a supercritical carbon dioxide method and substantially comprises 1-10 sheets of lipid membrane and 70% of the liposome is composed of 2-some number of sheets of lipid membrane. The rate of inclusion of the compound in the liposome is 25-35%. The liposome membrane constituting component comprises at least a phospholipid having a polyethylene glycol group, having 40-70°C of melting points and substantially free from organic solvents and used as the X-ray contrast medium.
