The connection (1) for connecting two relatively movable component parts, preferably pipeline sections, includes an outer sleeve (2) inside which is provided a guide unit which can be an inner sleeve (4) or a pipe section. The guide unit is at least equally as long as the outer sleeve, and may be longer. The fixed end (5) of the guide unit and the corresponding end (7) of the outer sleeve are fixed between at least two flanges which are tightened down one against the other.
