Provided is a water-in-oil emulsion explosive composition having drug phase which has stiffness, decreased stickiness, and substantially increased long-term shelf stability. The emulsion explosive composition contains an aqueous solution of oxidizing agent, wax, and mineral oil, fine hollow sphere, and other additives. The composition is prepared by adding adhesive resin selected from the group consisting of n-butyl acrylate copolymer based on polyethylene, vinylacetate copolymer, ethylenevinylacetate copolymer, ethylenemethylacrylate copolymer, to the wax and mineral oil which are fuel phase. Amount of the adhesive resin is 0.1-1.0 wt% based on total weight of the emulsion explosive, or 3-30% based on amount of the wax and mineral oil. |
