PACKAGING MEMBER FOR ELECTRON BEAM HEATING MAKING USE OF PLANAR FASTENER

A packaging member for electron beam heating constituted of a thermoplastic resin, characterized in that at an opening region of the packaging member, two hook planar fasteners having hooklike engaging elements are provided in mutually engaging relationship, and that portion of mutual engagement of the two hook planar fasteners exhibits a steam permeability of 0.5 to 200 cc/m · min with respect to 100°C steam and exhibits a disengagement pressure resistance of 0.5 to 5.0 kg/cm in the presence of the heated steam. The packaging member is so structured that the opening region and a steam release port are provided in the same place, thereby attaining not only simplification of structure and reduction of production cost but also providing of a packaging member for electron beam heating that is easy to use and facilitates re-opening and re-heating of the packaging member.
