A pixel of a light emitting display and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to display uniform images by setting the threshold voltage of transistors included in pixels within a range of -1~-4V. A pixel(140) includes a light emitting element and a pixel circuit(142) comprising plural transistors(M1~M6) connected to data lines(Dm) and scan lines(Sn) and at least one capacitor(C) charged with voltage corresponding to threshold voltage of at least one of the transistors and a data signal supplied through the data line. The threshold voltage of the transistors included in the pixel circuit is set to -1~-4V by controlling the heat treatment temperature of a semiconductor layer or the thickness of a gate insulating layer.
