MANUFACTURING METHOD OF ELECTROLYTE FOR LITHIUM ION BATTERY AND BATTERY USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of an electrolyte for a lithium ion battery containing lithium hexafluorophosphate as an electrolyte and to provide a lithium ion battery using the electrolyte.

SOLUTION: When the electrolyte for the lithium ion battery containing lithium hexafluorophosphate as the electrolyte is manufactured, lithium fluoride, lithium chloride, lithium bromide, lithium iodide, or an either mixture of them, phosphorous pentachloride, and hydrogen fluoride are made to react in a nonaqueous organic solvent. A battery uses the electrolyte.
