<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device for a cooling fan, the device which is low in parts cost and assembly cost and provides improved effects for vibration isolation/noise reduction of the cooling fan. <P>SOLUTION: A stopper part 33b abutting and stopping one surface of the cooling fan 31 at a position where the cooling fan is engaged with a cylindrical duct 33 is formed in the cylindrical duct 33. Then, a plurality of elastic notch pieces 33d are formed on the sides of a wall part 33a of the duct 33 where the cooling fan is engaged with the duct 33 and restraining claw parts 33e which can restrain the other surface of the cooling fan 31 are formed on some of the elastic notch pieces 33d. At the same time, projections 33f which can hold down a surface between the one surface and the other of the cooling fan 31 laterally inwardly is formed on the remaining elastic notch pieces 33d.
