<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission system which can suppress the confusion of corresponding frequency to each of "High" and "Low", when a signal is demodulated to binarized data corresponding to the frequency of an optical communication signal in a receiving terminal and without troubles, even if the data are acquired continuously further from a plurality of electric-discharge lamps for a short time, and to provide the receiving terminal used for the optical transmission system, and a method of optically transmitting by the optical transmission system. <P>SOLUTION: The receiving terminal 4, used for the optical transmission system 1 for communicating data with the optical communication signal 3, by modulating the frequency of the light outputted from the electric-discharge lamp 2, includes demodulation means 5 for demodulating the optical communication signal 3 to data, based on the variation amount of the frequency of the optical communication signal 3 which has received and a threshold defined from the differences of the frequency used for the modulation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
