摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burst optical signal receiver capable of efficiently reproducing clock and data. <P>SOLUTION: The burst optical signal receiver of this invention comprises: a delay time adjusting means for adjusting the delay of the data pulse of burst optical signals so as to be a prescribed phase difference to the clock pulse of dummy optical signals when receiving the burst optical signals; and an optical signal switching means for switching and outputting the delay-adjusted burst optical signals and the dummy optical signals, which outputs the dummy optical signals at the intermittent part of the burst optical signals. Thus, the capacitance of AC coupling included in the equalizing amplifier circuit of the burst optical signal receiver is turned to the state of being charged at all times even in the intermittent part of the burst optical signals, and stable equalizing amplification signals are obtained. Also, since the phase difference of the dummy optical signals and the delay-adjusted burst optical signals is adjusted to be a prescribed value or less, the time required for phase pull-in in a clock/data reproduction circuit is shortened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
