<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workbench on a column, which enables a person to brace his/her legs and put power with his/her entire body. <P>SOLUTION: This workbench on the column, which has one end of a footstool demountably mounted and supported on a utility pole via a mounting implement, is characterized as follows: a support is provided on the mounting-implement side of the footstool; right and left foot-hold steps are provided at the upper end of the support; and preferably, the footstool is mounted and supported on the utility pole in an inclined manner. In the workbench on the column, a tread of the footstool has a depth set almost equal in dimension to the longitudinal length of a working boot, and preferably, has a greater width than the right and left foot-hold steps; the tread is formed like a recess; anti-slip treatment is applied onto the tread; and/or a corner part on the other side of the mounting implement is rounded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
