<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water quality management system which is capable of considering the fluctuation in quality of source water being a feature of city water and is capable of improving accountability to consumers. <P>SOLUTION: A water quality management system 1 monitors a water quality of city water and divides indexes of the water quality of city water into groups to manage them and examines whether the groups are statistically homogeneous or not and sets a management criterion to each group determined to be not homogeneous and records it in a management criterion database 22. Past measurement data in a water quality/process database 21 and management criterion are read in, and a diagnostic means 3 diagnoses current water quality data and gives an alarm when the current water quality data doesn't meet the management criterion, and retrieves water quality data similar to the current water quality data from past data. Statistics are computed for the retrieved water quality data, and the diagnostic means 3 performs diagnosis again on the basis of the statistics and gives a warning again when necessary and records a diagnosis result in a diagnosis database 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
