<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present various information such as road guide information to a user in a specified area. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile information terminal 11 has an image pickup means 11A and can acquire image information and display the image information by a display means 11B. A server 12 computes position and orientation relations of the mobile information terminal 11 itself during photography by using a known marker 14 included in an image photographed by the image pickup means 11A (image acquisition section 1) of the mobile information terminal 11, and processes specified information previously associated with the photographed marker 14 on the basis of the result, and the mobile information terminal 11 superimposes the specified information (for example, an arrow 15) having been processed on actually photographed video photographed by the image pickup means 11A and displayed on the screen of the display means 11B (display section 6) and displays the information at the same time.
