PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker having a cabinet which can prevent sound quality from deteriorating. SOLUTION: The speaker comprises a speaker unit, and a speaker box (cabinet) for containing the speaker unit having a sound discharge profile portion for guiding sound emitted from the speaker unit into a compartment. The sound discharge profile portion is provided at a position in the cabinet opposing a spare tire installed in the vehicle through a predetermined air gap. The air gap functions as a passage for guiding sound emitted from the speaker unit into the compartment. In particular, a part of the sound discharge profile portion arranged at the position corresponding to the side face portion of the spare tire has a curved surface profile in the radiating direction of sound. That part of the sound discharge profile portion is shaped to have a curved profile substantially identical to the profile at the side face portion of the spare tire. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
