PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationally machine a workpiece disposed irregularly and dispersively in a machining device using a parallel mechanism structure. SOLUTION: The machining device 10 is constituted so as to switch over the position and attitude of a machining head 24 by the parallel mechanism. The machining device 10 is constituted so that whole device can be moved by a cart 12. The machining device is equipped with a probe 28 detachably mounted to the machining head 24, a workpiece position detection means 38 or the like which detects a relative positional relationship of the workpiece with respect to the machining device 10 by contacting the probe 28 to a support table of the workpiece, a data conversion means 36 which converts a previously stored machining data to the machining data according to the positional relationship, and an axis control means 34 for drive-controlling a strut 18 so as to machine the workpiece W based on the machining data to be converted.
