PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fully interesting pinball game machine in which a game area can be effectively utilized. SOLUTION: The pinball game machine is provided with a start port 52 which can be opened and closed by a blade member, puts out prize balls when a game ball enters and extracts a random number for lottery whether or not to attain a game state advantageous to a player, an operation gate 51 which extracts the random number for lottery whether or not to open the start port 52 by the passing of the game ball, and a big winning port 54 where the ball can not enter in a normal game state and the ball can enter in the game state advantageous to the player, in the game area 20 surrounded by guide rails 22 and 23 of a game board 21. In the pinball game machine, a ball path 25 where the game balls can pass through is sectioned from the other area and formed in the area at the right corner of the game area 20, and the operation gate 51 or the big winning port 54 is arranged inside the ball path 25 or at the flow-down destination of the ball path 27.
