A cross arm of an electric pole with a long hole for fixing a shackle is provided to increase operation efficiency by fixing the shackle on the cross arm by making a reception unit to receive a part of a head of the shackle in a circumstance of the horizontal long holes. A cross arm of an electric pole with a long hole for fixing a shackle includes a pair of horizontal long holes(230) for a cross arm band and at least one horizontal long hole(220) for fixing shackles which are formed on the same plane. The horizontal long hole for the cross arm is formed in a rectangular shape. A cross arm band for fixing the cross arm on the electric pole is inserted into the horizontal long holes for the cross arm. A head of a shackle is inserted into the horizontal long hole for fixing shackles. A first receiving portion(221) is formed on a circumference of at least one of the horizontal long hole for fixing shackles in a direction from a surface to an inner portion, so that the head of the shackle is received by the first receiving portion.
