<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus capable of obtaining an output result in which post-processing such as stapling is properly performed even if a job is received in which plurality of sheet sizes mixedly exist. <P>SOLUTION: Based upon a job specifying a stapling operation for a bundle of sheets in which large size sheets and small size sheets mixedly exist, a stapling operation for the bundle of sheets is carried out by a stapler when the bundle of sheets with images formed thereon by a printer 2 satisfies the following conditions: the short edges of the large size sheets of the bundle coincide with the long edges of small size sheets in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the conveyance of the sheets, and images formed on the sheets of the bundle are all in the same direction when the bundle of sheets are laid out on the two faces after stapled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
