An air cleaner capable of installing a fan motor by a simpler structure is provided. An air cleaner comprises: a front case(100) and a rear case(200) that form an external appearance of the air cleaner; an orifice(300) installed between the front case and the rear case to guide a flow of air; a filter assembly that is installed at one side of the front case and has a plurality of filters to filter alien substances contained in air; a blowing fan installed at one side of the filter assembly to generate a flow of air; a fan motor(340) installed at one side of the blowing fan to provide the blowing fan with rotary power; and a motor mounting means comprising a motor cover(344) for pressing and supporting one face of the fan motor, cover supports(382) for supporting the motor cover so that the motor cover is spaced from the rear face of the orifice in a predetermined distance, and clamping screws(384) for clamping the motor cover to the cover supports such that the fan motor is mounted on the rear face of the orifice, wherein the cover supports and the orifice are integrally formed, and ends of the cover supports are formed in a step height shape.
