The system consists of rigid panels made of stainless steel, assembled in solid form, and anchored in the interior wall of a brick, steel or concrete chimney. Thermal isolation walls of high thermal resistance are arranged at the interior surface of the chimney and interposed between the rigid panels. The thermal isolation walls are made of rock wool or ceramic fiber, and arranged to be in contact with the smoke released through the chimney. Anticorrosive coating, made of halogenated copolymer based on high molecular weight, is formed on the thermal isolation walls.
