A method for transmitting a message including an order tag and a mobile communication terminal for performing the method are provided to include the order tag, related with a message transmission order, in the message and to transmit the message, thereby complementing that the messages can not be received in order due to delay of a network. A method for transmitting a message including an order tag comprises the following steps of: enabling a user to input message contents and a phone number of a receiver and to request message transmission(101); determining whether the message, which will be transmitted according to the request of the user, is a long message or not(102); if so, assigning the order tags to the message(103); and transmitting the message to the second mobile communication terminal having the phone number of the receiver after including the assigned order tag in the message(104,105).
