ADDITIVE FOR FEED AND FEED COMPRISING IT

A feed additive containing Corchorus olitorius L., Lonicera japonica Thumb. and dried distillers' spent cereal grains having various physiological activities such as antioxidation, anticancer, antibacterial, antivirus, detoxification and the like is provided. The feed containing the feed additive reduces the content of crude lipid and increases the crude ash and moisture content in meat and increases meat color and meat quality when fed to livestock. The feed contains: 100 parts by weight of conventional feed; and a feed additive comprising 10 to 85% by weight of Corchorus olitorius, 10 to 85% by weight of Lonicera japonica Thumb and 4 to 45% by weight of dried distillers' spent cereal grains. The Corchorus olitorius is obtained by washing stem and leaf of Corchorus olitorius, drying with hot air to a humidity of about 10% and grinding to 80meshes.
