A motion vector determining part (30a) determines a motion vector by use of images each comprising a plurality of pixels obtained by an image sensor having a time quadrature effect. A time resolution creating part (90) produces an image of a high time resolution by use of the determined motion vector and the images each comprising the plurality of pixels. A motion blurring reduction image producing part (40) obtains the pixel values of the pixels of a motion object in images as the values obtained by shifting and simultaneously integrating in the time direction the pixel values of pixels where there has occurred no motion blurring that corresponds to the motion object. The motion blurring reduction image producing part (40) then uses the detected motion vector to produce a motion blurring reduction image in which the motion blurring of the motion object has been reduced.
