A METHOD AND APPARUTUS FOR CONTROLLING UE'S OPERATION WITH E-RGCH FROM NON-SERVING NODE B

A terminal device and a transmission rate control method thereof are provided to allow a UE(User Equipment), which receives an uplink data transmission scheduling from a non-serving Node B, to reduce a transmission rate several times for a certain period. A UE receives down commands of allowable transmission rate of the UE from RLSs(Radio Link Sets) of non-serving Node Bs, and counts the number of the down commands for respective predetermined hysteresis periods. The number of down commands which have been actually performed for the hysteresis periods is counted. The counted number of the down commands and the number of down commands which have been actually performed are compared to reduce the allowable transmission rate of the UE.
