The invention refers to medicine, namely to the therapy and gastroenterology. The method of gastroduodenal affection prognostication consists in determining the serotype of the Helicobacter Pylori strain. If by chance there is revealed that the Helicobacter Pylori strain relates to the serotype (CagA+, VacA+), it is prognosticated the development of gastroduodenal ulcer, if it relates to the serotype (CagA+, VacA-) or (CagA-, VacA+), it is prognosticated the development of erosive gastroduodenitis, if it relates to the serotype (CagA-, VacA-), it is prognosticated the development of nonerosive gastroduodenitis or of asyptomatic carriers.
