A method and an apparatus for detecting manipulation of a valve are provided to detect the manipulation of the valve by using a detection wire. In a method for detecting manipulation of a valve, a detection wire(10) is installed in a case body(14) instead of a safety pin or a seal. If the valve is arbitrarily manipulated, the detection wire is cut to detect an electrical change. The detection wire is coated to prevent the change of the resistance due to the interference with the valve. A switch and a pressing unit are installed in the case body if the case body is opened to show the same effect as cutting of the detection wire.
