A system and a method for location-based group buying are provided to enable an offline shop to use a group buying mode, and directly obtain or offer an article without delivering the articles by transmitting group buying information of the offline shop to mobile communication subscribers based on sale location information. A shop registration server(120) receives and registers offline shop information transmitted from a group buying joined company through the Internet. A goods registration server(130) registers the group buying information including a group buying condition, a location condition, goods information, and the shop information provided from the group buying joined company. A customer extracting server(140) extracts the mobile communication subscribers corresponding to the sale location based on the group buying location condition by using a location information providing server providing location information of a mobile terminal. A message transmitting server(150) transmits a text message including the group buying information to the extracted subscribers. A group buying operation server(110) provides the group buying information to the customers replied through the text message. |
