A method for analyzing capability of electrolyzed water is provided to efficiently calculate the concentration of washing materials in the electrolyzed water by using the maximum solubility of magnesium oxide in the electrolyzed water. To analyze the capability of electrolyzed water, the maximum solubility of magnesium oxide corresponds to the quantity of washing materials in the electrolyzed water. 250 ml of electrolyzed water having a pH of 2.9-7.2 dissolves 100-500 micrograms of magnesium oxide.
