Provided are a resin article that is superior in transparency, heat resistance, and adhesiveness with an adherend, maintains the good adhesiveness for a long time, and produces a layered article without using an adhesive or forming an adhesive layer, and a layered article using the same. The resin article has a constituent unit represented by the following formula 1, consists of a polymer having a glass transition temperature of 230-450‹C, and is obtained by subjecting at least a part of the surface to an oxidation treatment. In the formula, A^1 to A^4 each independently represents an atom or a substituent selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a C1-10 alkyl group, a C5-15 cycloalkyl group, a C6-20 aryl group, a C1-10 alkoxy group, a hydrolyzable C3-15 silyl group, a C3-15 oxetanyl group, a C1-15 N-substituted amide group, an alkoxycarbonyl group having a C1-5 alkoxy group, a trialkylsiloxycarbonyl group, a dialkylaluminoxycarbonyl group, a carbonate group, and a glycidyl group, wherein the substituents are bonded to one another by a C1-10 alkylene group to form rings, A^1 and A^2 are bonded to each other to form an alicyclic structure, a cyclic aromatic structure, a cyclic acid anhydride group, a cyclic imide group, or a C1-15 alkylidenyl group, A^1 and A^3 form a C1-15 alicyclic structure, a cyclic aromatic structure, a cyclic acid anhydride group, or a cyclic imide group together with carbon atoms bonded thereto, and m represents 0 or 1.
