An air cleaner is provided to selectively expose forwardly or upwardly a display window and a manipulation button as the occasion demands. A blowing fan and a fan motor generate a current of air. A display window(216) displays the operation state to the outside. Plural manipulation buttons(218) are used to set plural operations. The display window and manipulation buttons are selectively exposed forwardly or upwardly and equipped on the surface of a rotation member(210) rotatably installed. The rotation member has a cylindrical shape and is installed at the front upper end corner of an air cleaner. A remote controller receiving member(120) is equipped at the nearby lower end of a front panel(110).
