Provided is a metal-based ink composition that forms fine patterns having a high conductivity and a uniform and compact thin film shape even if fired at a low temperature of 200‹C or below. The metal-based ink composition comprises a metal complex compound and additives. The metal complex compound is obtained by reacting at least one metal or metal compound selected from the following formula 1 of M_nX with at least one ammonium compound selected from the following formula 2, 3, or 4. In the formula 1, M is a metal or metal alloy, n is an integer of 1-10, X does not exist, or is at least one substituent selected from hydrogen, ammonium, oxygen, sulfur, halogen, cyano, cyanate, carbonate, nitrate, nitrite, sulfate, phosphate, thiocyanate, chlorate, perchlorate, tetrafluoroborate, acetylacetonate, mercapto, amide, alkoxide, carboxylate, and derivatives thereof. In the formulae 2, 3, and 4, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, and R6 are independently of one another selected from hydrogen, substituted or unsubstituted C1-30 aliphatic alkyl groups, cycloaliphatic alkyl groups, aryl group or aralkyl groups, polymer compound groups, heterocyclic compound groups, and derivatives thereof, the R1 and R2 or R4 and R5 are bonded to each other to form a ring. |
