A software product for a three-dimensional cardiac image using an ultrasonic contour reconstruction is provided to allow a surgeon to perform a complex operation more easily by using a three-dimensional cardiac image. A software product for a three-dimensional cardiac image using an ultrasonic contour reconstruction includes a computer-readable medium. Program commands are stored in the computer-readable medium. When the commands are read by a computer, the computer obtains a plurality of ultrasonic images of an anatomic structure by using an ultrasonic sensor at a plurality of spatial positions. The computer measures position and orientation coordinates of the ultrasonic sensor at the plurality spatial positions, and marks an interest-contour part which represents characteristics of the anatomic structure of at least one ultrasonic image. The computer forms a three-dimensional model of the anatomic structure based on the interest-contour part, the measured position, and the orientation coordinates.
