The elevator has a cabin (11) and counterweight (12) in a shaft (10) with a drive machine (1, 2, 3, 4) mounted on a cross beam (8) fixed on a counterweight guide (9) and a cabin guide (5). The drive machine has two drive pulleys (3, 3') and/or the drive machine is gearless. The drive pulleys are in active connection with a motor and brake through a shaft and/or are mounted left and right of a horizontal connecting line of the cabin guides. |
