A TV for storing favorite channels and a favorite channel storing method using the same are provided to allow a user to confirm date and time information in which deleted channels are stored as favorite channels after the channels are deleted from the favorite channels, and store and use the deleted channels as favorite channels again by storing the channels selected as the favorite channels together with the date and time information. An interface(214) receives various channel setup information from a user through a remote controller or a button. A storing unit(211) stores various information including favorite channel information. A control unit(213) stores favorite channels inputted through the interface(214) according to a stored time zone. If a channel selection signal is inputted through the interface(214), the control unit(213) controls each unit to be capable of outputting image information of channels extracted according to the favorite channels through a speaker(206) and a screen(216). When a request for re-storing deleted favorite channels as favorite channels is inputted, the control unit(213) re-stores the deleted favorite channels as the favorite channels.
