<p>The invention relates to a composite shackle insulator, used for manufacturing simple or double insulating chains, supporting or stretching chains for medium voltage open lines, in elastic crown. According to the invention, the insulator has some ends (3) made of rolled or drawn steel thermally zinc coated after having been processed, consisting of a cylindrical section (d), provided with a collar (e), a pocket (f) and a central hole (g), without zinc coating, being continued with a lifting eye (h), made by milling two faces (i) of the round laminated or drawn steel semi-product, and provided with a transversal mounting hole (j). Advantages: a constructively and technologically simpler construction.</p> |
