An artificial marble composition containing glittering particles is provided to express a hologram effect and to maximize glittering by adding the glittering particles produced by crushing a polyester film metallized to the artificial marble composition, into the specific size. The artificial marble composition containing glittering particles consists of acryl resin syrup of 100wt.%; the glittering particles of 0.1-5wt.% produced by cutting and crushing a metallized polyester film in the size of 0.001-2.5mm; inorganic filling materials of 100-200wt.%; and a polymerization initiator of 0.1-10wt.%. The acryl resin syrup is produced by dissolving an acryl polymer in an acryl monomer selected from a group comprising meta acrylic acid, methyl-meta acrylate, ethyl-meta acrylate, isopropyl meta acrylate, n-butyl metal acrylate, and 2-ethylhexyl acrylate. The content of the acryl monomer is 65-95wt.%. The content of the acryl polymer is 5-35wt.%. |
