FIELD: medicine, in particular pharmaceutical composition useful in treatment of cartilage lesions, inflammation, arthritis, etc. ^ SUBSTANCE: claimed composition contains carrier, diluent or filler, valdecoxib and alpha-2-delta-ligand, selected from babapentin, pregabapentin, 3-(1-aminomethylcyclohexylmethyl)-4H-[1,2,4]oxadiazole-5-one hydrochloride, and (3S,4S)-(1-aminimethyl-3,4-dimethylcyclopentyl)acetic acid.
