A fishing rod for using in a fishing place with water plants is provided to be utilized as a fishing rod for a water plants by connecting only a grip part thereof to an existing fishing rod without purchasing a separate fishing rod for water plants. The fishing rod for using in a fishing place with water plants includes: a fishing rod body(100); a grip part(200) having a housing, a joint part, a cover plate, a driving gear, a driven gear, and a spool; a handle(300) for transferring a driving power to the driving gear; a first adapter(400) having a first connecting part(410) and a second connecting part(420); a fastening ring(500) mounted on an outer periphery of the joint part of the grip part connected to the first connecting part; and a first fastening nut(600) for connecting the fishing rod body and the first adapter by being connected to the second connecting part.
