Easy-open handle bag for medium to heavy duty applications

A flexible bag formed from thermoplastic film is disclosed. The bag has a body 11 consisting of two panels 14a, 14b sealed to form a cavity. An integral handle 20 and an easy open feature 21 adjacent to a side edge of the bag are included. The easy open feature may be either a line of weakness or a reclosable fastener affixed to the inner surface of the thermoplastic film.
