A speaker which uses a waterproof vibrating plate manufactured by a method comprising forming a water-repelling layer comprising a wax on the surface of a paper pulp in a suspension of the paper pulp by the use of a wax-based emulsion, then forming a binder layer comprising a rosin or an alkyl ketene dimer on the surface of said water-repelling layer in said suspension by the use of a sizing agent based on a rosin or an alkyl ketene dimer, and further forming an oil-repelling layer comprising a fluorine-containing resin on the surface of said binder layer in said suspension by the use of a fluorine-containing resin emulsion, followed by paper-making, forming and heat-drying. |
