A process and a device for sharing inline caches are provided to share the inline caches to reduce memory use for dynamic dispatch in a digital processing system, and reduce memory need by sharing a specific feature like the same cached memory address and necessary format with multiple cache states. An object includes the first method(162) having an inline reference. A state cache is set to call the second method. When the first method is called, the inline reference refers to the state cache and the state cache calls the second method(166). The object includes the inline cache and the inline cache includes an inline reference. The state cache includes the inline cache having a computer code(164) related to the second method.
