Known household appliances for integrating into a sector of a worktop (5) comprise an operating strip (7) containing at least one operating element (13) and having a supporting surface (23) on the lower side thereof for supporting the household appliance on the worktop (5), and a housing part (25) provided with a fixing flange (31) to which the operating strip (7) is fixed. The aim of the invention is to produce the operating strip in a simple manner with high dimensional accuracy. To this end, the operating strip (7) is produced essentially by forming or milling.
