The invention relates to laser processing of materials and can be used for sintering of articles made from large-fraction powders of different materials by laser emission and in laser stereolithography using powder materials.The task of the invention is to develop a method of sintering articles made from powder materials using laser emission and a device therefor providing inter-layer and between-layer sintering of spherical powders with minimum breakdown of powder particles geometry, maintaining filler's initial porosity rate providing its regulation with high accuracy of article manufacture and efficiency of the powder sintering.The method for laser sintering of articles made from powder materials comprises sintering successively applied layers of the powder material using laser scanning beam.The authors regard, that novel feature comprises focusing the laser emission on the surface of the powder filler from the spherical particles to a spot, the center of which in each laser pulse is combined with the center of the space between three neighbouring spherical particles, and the diameter is equal or less particles' diameter.The device for sintering articles made from powder materials comprises a pulse-periodic laser, optically associated with the focusing system, a beam scanning system, a powder filler system, a controlling computer.The inventive feature is characterized in that the device further comprises a video camera optically associated with the laser emission focusing system and electrically connected to the controlling computer, beam scanning system and laser. |
