The device has a cylindrical barrier forming unit (11) arranged horizontally across a bay and fixed at two ends of the unit to a wall case, where the case has a housing at the corresponding ends of the unit. The unit is mounted rotating around a longitudinal axle (12) along a permitted rotational direction (S1). The device has an engine to turn the unit which has a single direction rolling bearing, where the unit has a diameter ranging from 10 to 30 cm. An independent claim is also included for a method to avoid the breaking of a passage.
